Wellbeing - sea swimming...why not take the plunge?

Wellbeing - sea swimming...why not take the plunge?

The unlikely combination of the COVID 19 related restrictions, the fine weather and living reasonably close to the sea has made it the perfect time to take the plunge!

As well as the obvious benefits of fun and frolics, sea swimming is really good for your physical and mental wellbeing. The release of endorphins increases positivity and brings about a sense of well-being...and your stress levels reduce. If you swim with family or a pal, you’ll build your sense of connection...it’s like being a member of an exclusive club! But stay safe and don’t swim when you shouldn’t. I call this the ‘Suzie’ test...if it’s not safe for my daughter (Suzie) to swim then it’s not safe for me.

So take the plunge...for your physical and mental wellbeing...it’s part vaccine and part treatment.
